How do we work?

We are a largely autonomous product team comprising our founder & CTO, Product Manager, Lead Full Stack Developer, and 2 Full Stack Developers. We aim to meet daily at 9am PT for a brief standup that is part social check in and part traditional standup. Outside of our standup we try to keep meetings to a minimum, however as a Project Manager you should expect to meet regularly with our Product Manager, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the week.

Our team is spread across 4 timezones today, Pacific Time (1 person), Central Time (2 people), Eastern Time (1 person) and Eastern European Time (1 person). We respect one another’s time and attempt to pre-empt live meetings with asynchronous communication. Some of the tools we use to work together remotely are Confluence, Slack, ClickUp, and Zendesk.

What will you do at Bridge?

As our first Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing product development, pre-release management and coordination, and assisting our product development team resolve legal decisions across stakeholders. On a daily basis you will be expected to organize incoming requests, documenting decisions across our internal tools, and assist with defining and executing quality assurance plans. Stepping back to a weekly level, you’ll additionally work to maintain project documentation, plan product releases, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure our product features are effectively shipped and communicated.

Our team philosophy is loosely Agile, however, we are low on ceremony and try to employ methods and practices from across the software development spectrum. The project manager will need to learn the core concepts of our current practices and then help us continue to adapt and grow.
